Ontario Tech Mobile is the official mobile app of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, designed to keep students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors informed about the latest news, events, athletics updates, and campus maps. The app is available for free on iPhone and offers personalized event calendars and opt-in notifications.
The app offers three different experiences: student, faculty and staff, and alumni. The student experience allows students to access their course information, weekly schedules, grades, holds, records, Blackboard, student email, and more. The faculty and staff experience provides notifications about important news and events, the Weekly Report, staff discounts, easy access to campus services, and contact information in the staff directory or Expert Centre. The alumni experience allows alumni to check up on the Alumni Magazine, apply for the Student Alumni Mentorship Program, or nominate an outstanding graduate for an Alumni Award.
The app also includes a variety of features such as athletics news, schedules, and scores, campus maps, a directory to search for faculty and staff, and information on buildings, events, and student services. Users can also search for university experts in any area of expertise, look up hours and locations of eateries on campus, and stay up to date on the latest news and events from around the university.
